Fujiko (Tamura) Gardner Sensei's brothers; Masato, Hiroshi, Hikaru, Masaru, Mitsuru and Vince Tamura
were active in Judo on a Regional and National level from the 1920's to the present. 
Masato, 9th Dan, received his 3rd Dan rank personally from Kano Sensei and was president of the US Judo Federation. 
Vince, 8th Dan, was a 3 time AAU champion and represented the USA in the 1st World Judo Championship in Tokyo.
 
Carl Spuck studied and taught Judo and Tae Kwan Do prior to Aikido and has studied Kendo and Iaido under Omoto Sensei.
 
Michael Bissonette studied the philosophy and technique of Kendo and Iaido for 7 years under Omoto Sensei
 
Our Students have studied Kempo, Arnis, Isshin, Shotokan and Wado Ryu Karate, as well as Judo, Ju-Jutsu, Tai Chi, Kendo and Iaido.
 9 of our students have trained in Japan at Hombu Dojo, at Ibaraki Branch Dojo (Iwama)
and at the Japanese Self-Defense Forces summer training seminar in Kashima.
